With the experience we have gained through many R&D since 2006, we have started to breed HIRUDU VERBANA specie of medicinal leech breeding farm by rehabilitating the natural environment of the leech in soil ponds. Our sales to domestic and foreign health centers have started with 3 large natural ponds and 14 earthen pools with an annual capacity of one million.
Leeches are being collected from the ponds are quarantined, and then sterilized with solutions and health checks are carried out in our laboratories, and sent to health centers.
Medicinal Leech is widely used in the treatment of many diseases in the world. Leeches are in danger of extinction in the world, is taken under protection. For this purpose, a hunting ban is imposed for a few months. Exporting leeches during all year long is only permitted to those who breed leeches in ponds and natural environments.
In our farm, we make aquaculture with 8 tons of spring water per hour and natural feeding in our soil pools.
Our goal is to contribute to human health by distributing one million leeches annually to domestic and international health centers.
